Im Herbst 2011 begann eine neue Ära im qualitätsverwöhnten Markgräflerland. Die Weingenossen der beiden Spitzenlagen Auggener Schäf und Laufener Altenberg reichten sich die Hand und vermarkten ihre Erzeugnisse fortan unter dem Dach des Winzerkellers Auggener Schäf. An der Eigenständigkeit der beiden Einzellagen Schäf und Altenberg wurde nicht gerüttelt.
